Yifei Mo presents the Mohs Lecture by Placon

Computational Materials Group (CMG) member, Yifei Mo, was invited to present a lecture at the Mohs Lectures by Placon at the Rheology Research Center at the University of Wisconsin, Madison on September 25th, 2009. The title of the lecture was “Friction at the Nanoscale”.
Yifei Mo obtained his B.S. degree in Physics from Peking University in China. He joined CMG in August of 2005 and he is currently working toward his PhD degree in Materials Science. Since coming to the University of Wisconsin Yifei co-authored 5 papers in peer-reviewed journals (which include Nature, Applied Physics Letters, and Physical Review B) and one in conference proceedings.
