4th Workshop on Reactive Potential Development hosted by CMG

The CMG group organized the 4th Reactive Potential Development Workshop. The workshop took place on September 19th, 2009 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The speakers have been invited from major universities all across the country to present their work and exchange ideas on the developments of empirical potentials for molecular simulations. The speakers and their presentation titles are:

8:30~9:30 Adri van Duin, Pennsylvania State University

Development and applications of new ReaxFF descriptions for combustion simulations

9:30~10:30 Aiichiro Nakano, University of Southern California

Reactive Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Nano-mechano-chemistry on Petaflops Computers

10:30~11:30 Steve Stuart, Clemson University

Modeling Energetic Impacts with Reactive Potentials

13:00~14:00 Dave Schall1 and Judith Harrison2, 1Oakland University, 2U.S. Naval Academy

Si-H-C REBO potential developments

14:00~15:00 John Kiefer, University of Michigan

Simulation of multicomponent oxides and hybrid organicinorganic materials

15:00~16:00 Susan Sinnott and Simon Phillpot, University of Florida
